The new S.M.K. patches are not your standard shoulder size patch. They are designed smaller (2" wide X 3" tall). This design and where it is sewen (On the front of the right sleeve, 3-4" down from the elbow. For short sleeve gi tops, common sense applies.
In this location, it is highly visable and is right in your opponents face while performing technique.
It is absolutly forbidden to wear them on any other part of a gi / martial arts uniform.
However, one may place /attach to any part of a jacket/windbreaker or sewed to the front pocket of the SMK Officers / Officials maroon sport coat.
