Donald Jeffrey was appointed as apparent heir / Soke - Dai to the Shizenki Ryu Karate - Do by Soke Sandai, Avelino Mayoral 10th Dan. HeadFamily.
Shizenki Ryu Karate - Do was founded by Kenwi Tasuki on Okinawa in 1920. and passed on to
Louis Fried who had earned his 10th Dan, giving him HeadFamily status as Soke Nidai.

In 1993 Avelino Mayoral had received the system upon Fried Soke's passing also having earned a judan, thus making him Soke Sandai HeadFamily.

On April 18, 2022 Mayoral Soke appointed Don Jeffrey as Soke Dai Donald Jeffrey Soke Dai
And serves as a HeadFamily within the scope of his duties as Soke Dai.

SHOSHINDO KEMPO SOKE NAMES SOKE-DAI.
On January 1, 2023 at the Shoshindo Kempo Hombu in Houston, Texas U.S.A. Jeffrey Cuevas, Soke Nidai, Head-Family, 10th Dan of the Shoshindo Kempo system held a special promotion ceremony. Whereas Mr. Randy Anway was promoted to Yondan, 4th Dan whereas he was issued the coveted Renshi Belt. Mr. Anway was also named Soke-Dai "HEIR" to the Shoshindo Kempo System ! Congratulations on a tremendus acheivement !
THE SOKE MENKYO KAI LOSES ONE OF ITS OWN.
On February 24 2023 a 23 year member of the Soke Menkyo Kai and Vice President,Grand Master and Soke Sandai of the Shizenki Ryu Karate - Do,
Avelino Mayoral had passed. For all who knew him, it was a great honor to share martial arts knowledge and opinion with him. He leaves behind his wife Essien and many, many great memories. Avelino will (Is) be greatly missed by all.
It is with great sadness that Donald Jeffrey was named the "Soke Yondai" of the Shizenki Ryu Karate - Do and also, according to the Shizenki Ryu tradition, was awarded the rank of Judan, 10th Dan.
SOKE MENKYO KAI CHOOSES NEW MASCOT
On 1, September 2022 the Soke Menkyo Kai has chosen a new mascot in addition to its crest to bring
further identification to this accreditation association.
Although, recognized as a martial arts or karate god by many.
The SMK knows better and is using it as our mascot. The SMK is proud to display our
"BUSAGANASHI STATUE"
which rests in the SMK hombu dojo in Surprise, Arizona U.S.A.
